Description
The 8-Like Self-Supporting Centre Tube Cable (GYXTC8Y) is the compact cousin of the figure-8 self-supporting range – same self-supporting aerial logic, but built around a single central tube instead of multiple loose tubes, which keeps it noticeably smaller and lighter for its 2 to 12 fibre count.
The standard variant suits general aerial, duct, and buried use on smaller links; the corrugated-steel-tape-armoured version is the better pick where the route passes through areas with a higher risk of rodent damage or physical impact. Both handle long-distance and local area network duty.
