Description
The Double Armoured & Double Sheathed Cable (GYTA53) is Netop’s toughest outdoor fibre cable – a double sheath and double armour construction built for direct burial and other high-risk outdoor routes where a single layer of protection isn’t enough. Steel wire strength members and steel tape armour combine for the highest tensile and crush ratings in the outdoor range: 3,000 N short-term tensile and 3,000 N/100mm crush load.
Specify this one when the route crosses ground with vehicle traffic, agricultural equipment, or rocky, unstable soil, or anywhere a cable might get dug into without warning. It’s available from 24 to 144 fibres, so it scales from a modest buried link up to a full backbone route.
