Description
The Steel Tape Loose Tube Outdoor Cable (GYTS) steps up from Netop’s compact aerial cables into full-scale outdoor distribution, covering 24 to 144 fibres in one multi-tube design. Steel wire strength members and steel tape armour, combined with aluminium tape water-blocking, give it strong UV and moisture resistance for long-term outdoor exposure on aerial spans or in pipeline runs.
This is the cable to choose when building a backbone link or feeding a distribution point that needs real fibre count headroom, rather than a small point-to-point drop. It meets YD/T 901, IEC 60794, and ITU-T G.652, so it’s a safe default for standard long-distance and metro network builds where compliance documentation matters to the client.
