Description
The Waterproof Fibre Cable is a single-core outdoor cable purpose-built for wet or harsh environments – flooded ducts, coastal installations, areas with heavy seasonal rain – where an ordinary outdoor jacket isn’t enough. Steel tape armour and Kevlar yarn strength members give it both crush resistance and pulling strength, and it’s designed to connect to a range of connector models without special adaptation.
It’s available in 2, 4, or 6 fibre counts, so it’s best suited to smaller point-to-point links rather than high-count backbone runs – specify it wherever water ingress is the primary risk being designed against.
